Need for my direct Client AS400 developer AND QA with Iser..

1. POSITION

Job Title : QA with AS400 with Isereis exp.


Nature of Job : Contract


Location 1 : Pittsburgh , PA



Duration : 1 year





Requirement:

Extensive AS400 Iseries knowledge and Experience
CL or CL Programming Knowledge
Structured software testing experience
Experience testing large, integrated systems.
Excellent written and verbal communications skills
Ability to effectively decipher and comprehend both technical and
business documentation
5 + years of formal software testing experience in planning, writing,
and executing functional and system tests of distributed systems
within a structured software development process


Additional comments:



SOW I

The candidate will work on an existing application and develop
regression test cases, test data, and opportunities to automate the
execution of regression tests

SOW II

The candidate will work as a primary tester for a large, integrated
project. Adhering to FedEx Ground I.T. processes and procedures, he/
she will review technical and functional documentation as the basis
for identifying appropriate test approaches; create, document, and
execute system test plans and test scripts; perform data validation;
collaborate with other testers on cross-system integration tests;
analyze test results; record, report, track, and retest defects found
during testing; perform other testing related activities to provide
tangible evidence that the application under test meets business
requirements and quality objectives.

· They are basically looking for QA person with AS/400
programming exp. Work will basically understand the existing
applications which are on AS/400 iSeries (multiple servers)



· This person needs to run the AS/400 Jobs, DEBUG the AS/400
programs like a programmer , Create the triggers etc.



· They also asking for the AUTOMATION on AS/400



· On QA side they are asking all basic standard stuff which
any one with a QA background can answer.



So finally they need a QA/ Tester using QA Standards and processes,
who can do the AS/400 programming
