Windows XP pro and Networking Support Person

A Technical Support person is required by The Sonoma Group Technologies Inc.
to fill a temporary (3 month) position in Vancouver. The chosen candidate
will be
required to provide on-site technical support to one of our major clients.
The position involves daily support of a large number of users in a
networked environment.

The successful candidate must have:

· A Diploma in Computer Systems Technology from a recognized Post
Secondary Educational Institution or equivalent

· Strong verbal and written communications skills and the ability to
develop good working relationships

· Strong ability to solve technical problems

· Proficient with Windows NT Workstation, Windows XP Professional
and Windows 2000 server, Office 97, Office XP Outlook/Excel/Word/Power
Point, Local Area Network, server administration and security (encryption
and firewalls)

The successful candidate will have a great attitude, be responsible and be
able to work with minimal supervision.
