and Development centre located in Richmond, British Columbia.
Their bleeding edge Embedded Software Development Group seeks the most
talented, highly-motivated individuals for multiple openings in the area of
Linux kernel development.
Although intermediate developers are encouraged to apply - the true mission
is to acquire the BEST Linux Kernel GURU that can be identified.
This person shall be remunerated accordingly.
The team's efforts shall be directly influenced by this key player.
You will be involved in:
- Developing the real time Linux kernel for a purpose-built, multi-processor
multi-blade hardware platform.
- Performing hardware and software integration.
- Working closely with the hardware development group to design the
hardware/software interface.
Your previous knowledge base includes:
- Experience in developing real time operating systems, particularly the
Linux 2.6 kernel.
- Experience with SMP, NUMA and MIPS architectures is a decided advantage.
- Strong background in C/C++ software development environment. - Proficiency
in Object Oriented Analysis & Design would be an asset.
- Must have the ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Strong proficiency in written and communication skills. - Must have
Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or
Electrical Engineering.
