Our client is a leader in their industry and they are looking for a
Training Project Manager to lead their corporate Instructional Design
team and design instructionally sound training plans and develop
effective training materials to prepare staff as they continue
implementing WMS and related systems to their existing as well as new
distribution centers and warehouses.

The corporate office is located in Houston, TX and relocation is
provided. Also, there is an option that this could be a virtual
position (relocation not required) but travel to Houston as well as
other sites would be required (about 50-60%). Salary ranges up to
$80k with 10% bonus. Great benefits also program where every other
Monday or Friday is off.

This position is responsible for the overall project coordination and
onsite training responsibilities associated with the rollout of major
IT initiatives. Specifically, the incumbent will support the training
program associated with the national deployment of the Evant Demand
Planning and Replenishment System, SUSv2 and other related systems to
the broad-line operating companies. This individual will provide
comprehensive oversight for the various training projects; coordinate
training team, curriculum and materials; manage training delivery;
identify/recommend strategic decisions related to end-user training
and documentation; and interface with Training Manager to implement
these decisions. This individual will also communicate to operating
company and corporate executives, vendors and customers, as required,
to support the implementations. Successful candidate will be
responsible for all aspects of:

· Instructional Design and User Advocacy
· Team Development and Coordination

Required Skills
Incumbent must be self-motivated with the ability to effectively
handle multiple projects with 5+ years of experience in the design,
development, and implementation of instructor and/or Web-based
education solutions. When required (due to resource constraints),
incumbent must be prepared to personally deliver associated training.
Must be willing to travel up to 50%.

· Requires expert knowledge of adult learning principals and
instructional design methodologies.
· College degree preferred.
· Requires solid writing, analytical and decision-making skills with
the ability to communicate (verbally/written) across all levels of the
organization.
· Must possess strong interpersonal skills & capable of communicating
difficult issues effectively.
· Advanced technical proficiency in relevant software applications is
required.
· Strong understanding of business processes is required.
