IT Technical Lead

Location: Calgary
Duration: 2 years

Responsibilities will include:
* Work as a member of a project team to develop and support the IAP
Pipelines Project.
* Implement the design of reusable software components based on the
practices defined in the Rational Unified Process Analysis & Design
Discipline
* Identify, define, and document relevant software patterns and design
mechanisms to be used to implement the underlying subsystems
* Lead the Technical Team resources in planning, monitoring and issue
resolution

The successful candidate must have experience as in delivering enterprise
level custom developed software solutions. In general, key aspects of the
role are:
* Lead in the implementation of principles, standards, and guidelines
on the proper use and deployment of .NET technology.
* Work in partnership with business analysts and IAP Technical
Architect to ensure that there is a transition from design to development.
* Provide technical guidance, leadership, coaching and mentoring to
the developers on the team.
* Identify other architectural issues and recommendations to improve
our application systems environment. This includes current design patterns,
component development and identification of common services.
* Lead the development of the architecture and subsystems the
applications in the IAP project, supervising, directing and coaching the
application developers.
