Sr. Project Manager

Location: Edmonton
Duration: 6 months

• Facilitate the effective definition and management of projects as determined by the Division.
• Lead the definition and management of Transition Plans that will guide the divisional systems and process from current to ideal future state.
• Identify and document key business drivers, strategies, and requirements that affect the enterprise architecture.
• Encourage business models that reduce business function redundancy by promoting reuse/sharing.
• Ensure project outcomes have a strong linkage to the business strategies, ICT Strategy, and key business stakeholders.
• Lead or assist in communications activities surrounding the project outcomes and introduction of new business processes.
• Manage stakeholder requests for extensions to the scope and determine impacts to the project timelines and deliverables.
• Provide information, advice, guidance and consultancy to the stakeholders who are defining or impacted by ministry initiatives defined by projects
• Establish and lead design review, regular or ad-hoc reviews, and issue management meetings – ensuring correct interpretations of functional requirements, Business Architecture, and ICT Strategies for each project.
