Senior Oracle Developer

Location: Victoria BC
Duration: 6 months
Mandatory (Proven) Skills and Experience
• More than 10 years of software development experience (please specify number of years experience as a senior resource)
• More than 8 years providing solutions for complex systems using Oracle technologies (please specify number of years)
• More than 2 years demonstrated experience with Oracle 9i/10g database
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or similar college diploma

• Experienced in working under migration control in PVCS Version Manager
Preferred / Asset Skills
• Use of solid Object Oriented principles in the design and implementation of software
• Experience working in both Windows and Linux/Unix environments
• Redwood JCS scheduler or other automated job scheduling software
• Expertise in advanced PL/SQL techniques and performance tuning in Oracle 9i/10g
• Unit and systems Testing
• Experience and successful past delivery of developer-oriented technical documentation
• Proven strength in detailed technical analysis of technical issues
