Required skills:

Oracle 9i in a RAC configuration, experience installing, upgrading or migrating Oracle Financials 11.5.x, some Linux or Unix user experience

Desired, optional skills: Oracle Dataguard, RedHat Linux AS4 administration, EMC Clariion storage platform, Legato Netbackup


PRIMARY Responsibilities

upgrade of Oracle Financials v. 11.5.9 under Windows 2000 to v. 11.5.10 under Windows 2003 and possibly to RedHat linux AS4 in the future

Oracle 9i database on Linux AS4 in a RAC (Realtime Application Cluster) environment, with DataGuard replication to our disaster recovery site

datawarehouse performance and tuning. Datawarehouse environment is Oracle 9i (as above) with MS SQL OLAP used for construction of data cubes, and access via Crystal Reports
