Senior Oracle Applications DBA

Position: Sr. Oracle Applications DBA
Duration:4months
Skills: The desired candidate will possess a minimum of 5 years as an Oracle Applications DBA, will possess expertise in Oracle 9iRAC, and a strong background in release 11i.

The desired person should have a strong background in Unix/HP architecture; Windows NT Administration is also a plus. This person should possess the following:

*Expertise in Oracle applications database administration, restoration, patching, and replication.
*Expertise in installation, configuring, maintaining, and supporting Oracle Applications release 11i.
*Expertise in the development of backup/recovery procedures, basic and advanced performance and application tuning, space management, and other database maintenance procedures.
* Expertise in Oracle OEM and Concurrent Manager Processing.
* Experience supporting Oracle development and End-User tools.
*Strong experience in configuration, performance tuning, monitoring, troubleshooting and maintenance/prevention of Oracle databases.
*Experience with security products, encryption, firewall integration, etc.
* Solid verbal and written communication skills.
