Senior Database Developer SQL/Oracle

Required Skills:

** Bachelor's degree in computer science, or related field with a proven record of success.
** 3+ years experience as a Database development using SQL Server 2000/2005 and/or Oracle 9i serving in a database developer/DBA role

** 1+ year in the mortgage or banking industry (preferred but not required).
** Proven experience in creating, modifying and maintaining stored procedures, Oracle packages, triggers and SQL DTS packages.
** Experience with developing complex ETL scripts and procedures that require cross-walking, transformation and exception handling
** Experience with SQL Server Data Transformation Services a plus.
** Hands-on development of data model diagrams and data-modeling program such as ERWin or other tools

** Able to identify and define data sourcing, business rules, and transformation logic.
** Extensive knowledge of database normalization concepts and proficiency in the major SQL Server and Oracle Components: Transact-SQL, PL/SQL, stored procedures, triggers, views, and SQL DTS.
** Strong skills in systems analysis and translating requirements into practical solutions and usable database code.
** Working knowledge of SQL Enterprise Manager, Embarcadero DB Artisan, Embarcadero Change Manager and Oracle Enterprise Manager
** Proven ability to learn new technical environments and understand existing complex databases
** Demonstrated ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
** Must be willing to learn new technologies and platforms and become productive quickly
** Exceptional communications, interpersonal skills, ability to manage and communicate sensitive issues between business and IT representatives
** Must be flexible and able to handle stressful situations in a professional manner
** Must have a high degree of self-motivation, commitment and integrity
** Must demonstrate ability to work under minimal supervision
