A client of ours is seeking Sales Scientists for their Northeastern
territory and TX area. They are a technology leader in molecular pathology
and complete automation of cell and tissue testing.
Responsible for managing distribution partners in a designated sales
territory to ensure that sales goals are met. You must be able to work in
close cooperation with outside distributors.
Responsibilities:
· Manage and grow a geographic territory in an effective and
efficient manner while adhering to company policies, procedures, and
sales/marketing direction.
· Employ effective time management to ensure maximum customer
penetration and sales volume.
· Occasionally lift and transport samples, literature, instruments,
and miscellaneous items.
· Attend and participate in sales meetings, training programs,
conventions and displays as directed by management, which may require
work/travel on weekends or in addition to normal work hours.
· Maintain company property in a responsible manner and in
accordance with company policies and procedures.
· Work in a Team environment, fostering improvements towards
customer care and service
Qualifications:
· Strong customer service orientation
· Excellent understanding of the sales process
· Technical prowess
· Bachelor’s or advanced degree in immunology, zoology, cell
biology, biochemistry or molecular biology
· Experience in medical and/or biochemical fields
· Minimum of 2 years experience selling capital equipment/medical
sales and/or reagents
· Ability to travel 50% of the time or more
· Solid computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Compensation:
Up to $65K plus 10% commission and other benefits including company car,
cell phone, lap top computer, expense account.
