DESCRIPTION
Our Property and Casualty Commercial Insurance Client, home based in New England is seeking a Commercial Lines Marketing Director to become part of their Regional Management Team and be responsible for the marketing activities in the state of Maine. This is a pure marketing position to maintain and build relationships with independent agents. You will have a strong background in independent agency management, incentive compensation plans, commercial product development, training, and current interaction with the underwriting staff. Frequent travel throughout the state of Maine is necessary. You should have above average marketing skills, and current marketing responsibilities at a property and casualty insurance company or large agency. Commercial underwriting experience would also be preferred, as well as New England experience. At least 2 years in a management position is needed. Excellent communication, negotiation, and sales skills are a must.
