Description:
We are currently recruiting for a Senior Perl/PHP Developer for a leading
internet media company in San Diego. This is a permanent direct-hire
position with salary in the 100-110k range. Here are some of the day-to-day
tasks this person will perform.

1. Code projects – design and implement internet media platform
2. Collaborate with DBA to design and encode media serving
infrastructure
3. Make recommendations regarding new web technology
4. Work with internal teams as needed to develop new creative ideas.
5. Other projects or duties as required.
6. Comply with established company policies and procedures,
objectives, quality assurance program, safety and environmental standards.

Required skills:
1. BS or BA, or equivalent of work experience
2. Five plus years experience with internet media required.
3. Significant experience with: Linux, MySQL, Perl, PHP, and Apache
Web Servers
4. Encoding, and C experience preferred.
5. Excellent English language communication skills, both verbal and
written.
6. Exceptional organizational, prioritization, and time-management
skills with attention to detail.
7. Ability to interface professionally and effectively with all levels
of personnel, both within and outside the company in fast paced, dynamic
environment.
8. Able to follow-through, assume responsibility and use good
judgment.
9. Self starter, flexible, creative.
