Job Description: Primary Purpose: * Provides employee assistance services, resource and referrals and consultation on various EAP and work/life issues to customers, employees and members of their families who are experiencing personal work-related problems. Major Responsibilities: * Conducts a comprehensive professional assessment of the users need for core Worklife and / or EAP services. These service options can include: childcare, parenting, eldercare, education, general research, legal, financial, emotional well being, addiction disorders, work issues, and add-on services. * Understands and practices all Worklife and EAP policies and procedures. * Demonstrates a comprehensive understanding of the product portfolio and delivers service within the defined parameters. * Understands and uses all specialty and add-on services appropriately. * Documents all case activity with defined case management procedures. * Chooses appropriate resources, referrals and educational materials. * Demonstrates strong customer focus with all users of the service. * Monitors all research, referrals, and additional materials sent to users. * Conducts follow up and quality assurance contacts on all cases where permission to do so has been documented. * Based on business needs, may be asked to take on special projects as requested. Minimum Qualifications: * A masters degree in a related discipline, such as education, social work, counseling psychology or gerontology. * 1+ years of clinical experience preferable in the EAP setting. * Knowledge of mandated procedures for child and elder abuse situations. * Ability and interest to learn new areas of product portfolio and add-on products. * Excellent communication skills. Team player. * Good customer service, business and technical skills. * Ability to multi-task and work in a fast paced, high change environment. * Creative and flexible. Preferred Qualifications: * A masters degree in a related discipline, such as social work, counseling, psychology, education or gerontology required. * 3 years of clinical experience preferable in the EAP setting. * Knowledge and experience in core service areas of child development, parenting, adoption, education, services for older adults, addiction disorders, emotional well being, work issues, and critical incident stress debriefing. * Prior EAP experience with CEAP. * Diverse experience in counseling, social work or mental health services. EAP and substance abuse experience preferred. * Excellent customer service, business and technical skills.
