Description: The Sr. Training Specialist manages higher level training production projects. S/he evaluates, coordinates, allocates resources and assigns projects within the team based on demands, resources and availability. S/he conducts training needs assessments then designs, develops and validates training programs using appropriate delivery methods. S/he conducts classes, assesses results, and implements enhancements as needed, and prepares training materials and programs. S/he may have coordinating or supervisory or first level management responsibility for training specialists and/or training administrators, or may have responsibility for division training within a business or department. S/he may mentor and coach trainers within a team and assist the Training Manager with HR Functions within the team.5-7 years experience in training creation and delivery. Bachelors Degree in education, human resources, business or related field preferred. Advanced degree and/or certification preferred. Highly proficient in one or more systems owned by the line of business and can function as a subject matter expert. Able to work with advance training technologies; highly proficient in Microsoft Suite of products. Proficient in training needs assessment, course design and development, validating training programs, adult learning methodologies, eLearning and training delivery methods.
