Description: POSITION SUMMARY: This position is responsible for the scheduling of casual staff and traveler therapists working within his/her assigned regions. The purpose of this position is to decrease purchase services and utilize more casual staff in instances where staff is needed.



RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES:

1. Determines which candidates are truly interested in working for GRS and forms a relationship with the casual staff.

2. Establishes weekly/monthly hire goals that support the Territory’s needs and is held accountable for the attainment of these goals.

3. Collects, analyzes and inputs statistical data on a weekly/monthly basis.

4. Conducts screening of all per diem and traveling therapist candidates targeted for his/her assigned Territory.

5. Strives to decrease purchase services.

6. Tries to convert current casual and part-time staff to full-time and/or part-time staff.

7. Responsible for communicating GRS initiatives and incentives for casual staff.

8. Creates solid working relationships with recruiters and territory management.

9. Attends bi-weekly meetings with recruitment, territory management, and HR to discuss progress.

10. Performs other duties as assigned.



SPECIFIC EDUCATIONAL/VOCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

1. The Scheduler must possess a minimum of a bachelors degree in health care, human resources, or equivalent experience.

2. Sales experience or human resources/employment background preferred.

3. Must have strong communication, organizational, and customer service skills.



JOB SKILLS:

1. Must have a strong organizational ability.

2. Must have good verbal and written communication skills.

3. Must have the ability to coordinate and effectively prioritize multiple tasks.

4. Must be able to travel as needed.

5. Must possess the ability to positively interact with GRS and GHC staff, residents, visitors, and agency staff.

6. Must demonstrate discretion in handling of confidential information.

7. Must be able to work independently and cooperatively.
