Basic Qualifications Candidate must be in the process of attaining BS or MS in Computer Engineering Computer Science or Electrical Engineering or a similar field of engineering from an accredited university. Candidates graduation date must occur on or after September 1 2009. Department Description Product Functional Test (PFT) provides functional level (black-box) testing for digital television receivers. PFT works directly with software and hardware development teams along with system engineering to provide complete test solutions.

Scope of Responsibilities/Expectations Test engineer. Responsibilities include developing, documenting, implementing and executing test solutions within a digital television environment. Test solutions shall ensure software compliance with both SCTE and proprietary standards. Must be able to work well within a team environment. Specific Knowledge/Skills Computer Engineering, Computer Science or Electrical Engineering majors. Skills shall include a working knowledge of advanced computing techniques and the complete software development cycle. Basic knowledge of programming languages and networking required. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.
