Responsibilities: • Proactively design, lead, and champion user-centric principles for our Web site and Web applications • Provide creative vision and concepts for compelling and innovative experiences for rich Internet applications for HTML templates and interactive HTML pieces (AJAX, etc.) • Work closely with Marketing Managers, Product Managers and Creative Services to ensure that the visual design communicates brand principles and functions successfully • Coordinate with outside advertising agencies as per requirements • Take projects from concepts to finished designs/layouts to production files

Qualifications: • HTML, CSS, JavaScript and Photoshop • 5 years demonstrated expert-level experience in designing usable web-based interfaces for business-to-consumer (B2C) and Business-to-business (B2B) websites • Ability to distinguish and understand the difference between liquid, elastic, and rigid CSS file layouts. Should be proficient in cross-browser CSS and JavaScript for visual display • Excellent design skills and a proven track record of designing user-centric and compelling interfaces • Ability to provide concept exploration, interactive design development and refinement, based on input and feedback • Ability to rapidly adapt designs from wireframes based on changes in business and functional requirements • An understanding of site architecture and navigational guidelines, both best practices and based on company styles, and the ability to use these requirements for informed intuitive designs. • Ability to evaluate Web site analytics, customer feedback, prototype testing, and initiate design changes to site based on conclusions. • Demonstrated project management of workflow and deadlines of multiple, simultaneous projects • Extreme attention to details, meticulous design skills and the ability to rapidly turn-around design changes based on iterative design sessions
