Application Objects is seeking an experienced AbInitio support specialist / developers with multiple skills capable of functioning in a multi-discipline / multi-platform environment and able to embrace the responsibilities of this challenging position. The required skill sets for this position include the following;
Developer / Development Skills
•Experienced in the in the AbInitio suite of products implemented in a UNIX environment
•Experience in Design, Configuration, ETL, Data Mapping, Transformation and Loading in an extremely complex environment processing large volumes of data
•Capable of designing and supporting applications employing AbInitio as the product solution
•Skills in maximizing the high performance capabilities and parallel execution of processes provided by AbInitio functionality
•Experienced in implementing and supporting a data warehousing environments
•Excellent UNIX and KORN shell scripting skills
•Data Warehousing experience is critical
•Strong knowledge and experience operating within and supporting data processing solutions supported Oracle RDBMS
•Strong PLSQL skills and knowledge
•Experience processing sensitive data including HIPPA
•Experiences with Windows, UNIX and Linux
Critical Qualifications
•Senior level experience with AbInitio Design and Configuration
•Senior level experience with Data Warehousing implementation experience.
•Experience in coordinating with offshore on development / maintenance projects.
Additional Qualifications
•Excellent oral and written communication skills are essential
•Strong analytical, critical thinking and problem solving skills
•Detail oriented
•Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Industry Standard Certifications or equivalent experience.
•Senior level years experience in systems development and related field.
•Strong application development background with the ability to quickly comprehend complex system flows
•Ability to prioritize and perform independently
•Ability to function in a team environment and communicate effectively within the group
