Oracle PL/SQL Developer

RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Database Development, primarily in Oracle PL/SQL.
* Create Technical specs, Unit test cases, Transition and Op-docs.
* Participate in on-call support rotation.

Education and Experience:

* Minimum of 7 yrs of database development experience required, predominantly in Oracle.
* Proven experience (min 5 years) in Oracle PL/SQL development.
* Experience in ETL and scheduling languages such as Informatica and Autosys is highly desired.
* Proficiency in UNIX shell scripting, Perl programming and Autosys job scheduler skills are strongly desired. A working knowledge of programming languages (Java/C++) is a plus.
* Experience with a structured application development methodology, using any industry standard software development lifecyle.
* Ability to clearly interpret business requirements into efficient code and communicate results.
* A "Can Do" attitude and ability to work in a developing environment.
* Excellent written and oral communication skills.
* Excellent problem-solving skills.
* The candidate must be available for on-call support rotation and be experienced working in a highly available systems environment.
