Required skills:

Solid experience with Net C#, .Net VB, ASP.net, Visual Studio 2010,
SQL Server Manufacturing industry experience

• The objective of the Configurator Developer position is to
develop and manage the design of custom sales applications, and
maintain existing applications for use by internal and external
customers who configure customized customer products. The position
requires excellent communication skills and the ability to understand
business processes. The position contributes to organizational goals
by developing a sales Configurator that streamlines the quote to order
process, specifically contributing to quote and order accuracy. The
Developer will manage and verify the quality of the sales
Configurator, research and stay current with Configurator technologies
and communicate the details of new features and enhancements to users.
The Developer will keep abreast of competitive and complementary
competitive offerings.

Skill set:

• An engineering or technician background is preferred.

• Knowledge of manufacturing processes and configuration.

• Ability to design efficient and user friendly
applications.

• Programming proficiency in any computer language, a
background in SQL Server is desired.

• Expert MS Excel and Access skills are desired.

• Web programming experience is important to creating high
quality, user friendly customer facing web applications. Programming
used: HTML, SQL, JAVA, VBScript, ASP, ADO, AJAX, XML and .NET.

• E-commerce integration a bonus.

• Microsoft WPF and Silverlight are a plus.

• CAD files generation experience a bonus.

• Knowledge of Web Server functionality and Internet
Information Services (IIS) is desired.

• Strong planning and designing applications skills.

• Ability to maintain a project schedule. Project management
a bonus.

• Up to 50% travel in the U.S. International travel is an
option.

Education and Experience:

• Two-year degree in computer science or engineering or
equivalent experience.

• Minimum 4 years programming experience.
