Description Audit and Risk Review (ARR) is a global organization of 900+ professionals covering Citi’s global businesses. Citigroup’s internal audit division provides independent assessments of the company’s risk and control environment. Our findings and recommendations influence business management processes worldwide and senior management decision making around the world. The position is within the audit team covering Citi Global Wealth Management (GWM) in North America, participating on and leading audits of Businesses within GWM (Private Banking, Brokerage, Equity Research). Essential position responsibilities for a Senior Reviewer with Audit and Risk Review are as follows: Manages all aspects of reviews in accordance with ARR standards and any government and regulatory statutes. Proactively advances integrated auditing concepts and use of technology. Develops effective senior line management relationships and has a strong understanding of the businesses. Participates in major business initiatives and pro-actively advises and assists the business on change initiatives. Responsible for business monitoring, reporting findings, and recommending appropriate interventions where needed. Proposes creative and pragmatic solutions for risk and control problems. Is a recognized leader in training and developing others. Actively participates in the development of the global audit plan. Acts as lead reviewer for all types of reviews, including the most complex. Develops and executes a robust Audit Plan, by reviewable entity, for assigned businesses. Coordinates with Directors and Managing Directors to develop approaches for addressing broader corporate emerging issues. Typically responsible for significant size business and/or complex products or diverse businesses.

Specifications / Qualifications BA/BS or equivalent. Advanced degree and/or professional certification preferred. Typically has over 10 years of specialized business experience. Strong knowledge of Private Banking and/or Brokerage. Credit, Finance, AML, and/or Compliance experience would be an advantage. Comprehensive knowledge of audit/risk assessments techniques and principles. Makes sound decisions and is consulted often by others for advice and opinions. In-depth understanding of the inter-relationships of business and support units throughout the corporation and how they impact the overall control environment and the audit approach. Recognized expert in one or more of the corporations businesses and leverages this knowledge into a leadership role in one or more review teams. Recognized leader in successfully advancing the team concept within the department. Recognized as a leadership role model exhibiting initiative and intuitive thinking. Strong project management and interpersonal skills. Sensitivity to cultural diversity. Excellent communicator coupled with strong judgment and political astuteness.
