Description The Company Bloomberg is the leading global provider of financial data, news and analytics. The BLOOMBERG PROFESSIONAL service and Bloombergs media services provide real-time and archived financial and market data, pricing, trading, news and communications tools in a single, integrated package to corporations, news organizations, financial and legal professionals and individuals around the world. The Role Bloombergs expert-level Production Support team is looking to augment their current talent with a self-motivated, highly-experienced Integration Software Engineer/Third-Party Tools Engineer. The third-party support team is responsible for evaluating, rolling out, and maintaining critical third-party products used across R&D The team handles the needs of a diverse and dynamic development community. Team members perform the following functions: * Support a 1500-strong development community * Evaluate applicability and viability of proposed tools * Integrate new third-party tools into the development environment * Handle patch release management and installation * Work closely with vendors to escalate problems and expedite solutions * Establish processes for maintenance and verification of tools installations * Develop and deliver training on proper and effective use of tools and infrastructure * Emergency out-of-hours support via pager

Qualifications * Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or Related Field or Equivalent Experience * Very strong Unix and System/Network Administration Skills * Experience with all of the following: Purify, Quantify, PureCoverage, gdb, TotalView, Insure++ * Experience with compilers and linkers, specifically Sun, IBM and GNU compiler suites * Experience with Perl is a plus * Excellent time management and prioritization skills * Excellent verbal and written communication skill * Ability to work with people at all levels of the organization under tight deadlines
