Job Description: Regional Sales Manager will solicit accounts that provide group business that will ensure maximization of revenue in order to achieve and/or exceed revenue goals for all Montage Hotels & Resorts. Description: Regional Sales Manager is based in New York City and is responsible for soliciting new and existing accounts to meet/exceed revenue goals through telephone solicitation, outside sales calls, site inspections and written communication. Additionally, responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Prepare correspondence to customers, internal booking reports and file maintenance;Participate in daily business review meeting, training and other sales related meetings as required; Work with other departments within the hotel to provide quality service to customers; Attend trade shows, community events and industry meetings;Develop and maintain knowledge of market trends, competition and customers;Professionally represent the hotel at all industry/community functions; Participate as a team player with all departments; Assist with reports and/or competition data collection. Qualifications: -Requires good communication skills, both verbal and written. -Knowledge of all departments within a hotel. -Sales ability and skill in both oral and written form. -Ability to establish and master goals. -Must possess computer skills, including, but not limited to, Microsoft Word, Excel and Delphi.
Requirements: 1. High school or equivalent education required. Bachelors Degree preferred. 2. Minimum of 3-5 years of luxury hotel sales experience preferred
