Our Salt Business Unit is looking for entry-level Production Management Engineers to work at our facilities in Watkins Glen, NY.%0A %0A Position Description%0A Production Management Engineers manage people, process and input/product in a plant environment. They will be involved in day-to-day direct supervision of operators and production activities and participate in daily production management meetings. Production management engineers typically manage teams of production employees within the first year of their careers and have responsibility for hiring, scheduling, motivating, and handling employee relation issues. They will also be involved in optimization of the process and may manage capital projects. The first 6 months of this position will focus on learning the operations of the plant and doing project work. Required Qualifications Engineering degree from an accredited program in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering completed by August 2008. Right to work in the United States not based on a visa. Desired Qualifications Related intern or co-op experience. Preferred overall 3.0 GPA. Ability to relate technical knowledge to job-related duties. Demonstrated ability to solve problems and make decisions independently Excellent written and oral communication skills. Demonstrated leadership experience.
