Medical Billing Analyst
SYRACUSE, NY

Salary: $10 - 12 / Hourly
Job Type: 6-9 Month Contract

A national, Fortune 100 company with over a 200-year history
seeks a qualified candidate to assist in the production and
growth of the medical billing department. The qualified
candidate will be self-motivated with the ability to work within
a team environment. This position requires the ability to pay
close attention to detail and to work at a high level of
professionalism. The following responsibilities and skills are
required:

~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~
Inputs Alpha/Numeric data. Proofs work for accuracy and
completeness. Corrects errors during visual inspection.
• Maintains accurate records. 1-year experience preferred.
• Familiarity with IBM processing equipment.
• Inverted keyboard experience required.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Minimum keystroke speed of 8000 KPH.
• Ability to work with speed and accuracy in production
environment.
• High school education or equivalent
• Medical Bill Examiner experience preferred (ICD-9 & CPT Codes)
• Successful incumbents will have the following
responsibilities:
• Perform on-line review and investigation of medical invoices
and documents to determine correct claim, correct document type,
provider name and billing address.
• Perform on-line review of medical invoices to determine correct
Vendor and Specialty codes.
• Responsible for the integrity of th
