Under the direction of the Director of Marketing and Communications, the Web Communications Manager is responsible for the planning, content creation, production, and day-to-day maintenance of Campus Life's complex websites and systems interfaces (including the six individual and collective West Campus House System web domains) consistent with the department's communications plan. %0A %0A General responsibilities include:%0A%0A * Consult with Director of Marketing & Communications to develop a long-term strategy for Campus Life's web communications%0A * Provide extensive web communications management for Campus Life's %2492 million enterprise functions, related websites, and revenue-generating systems interfaces consisting of complex site maps%0A * Work closely with Marketing & Communications Managers, Graphic Designer, functional area representatives, and other clients to identify web communications opportunities and develop appropriate strategies to reach targeted audiences%0A * Develop and produce web content; provide day-to-day maintenance of websites%0A * Supervise and work closely with designers and developers to manage projects and ensure the sites are engaging, current, interactive, and consistent%0A * Write, proofread, and edit text for publication%0A * Provide training, oversight, and guidance for web content authors; develop and continually refresh training materials%0A * Ensure that all documents and images meet established content standards; work with developers to assess and meet any technical challenges in displaying content%0A * Perform regular site-wide verification of content, respond to user feedback, and manage requests for site design, modifications, or content changes%0A * Organize, schedule, and maintain historical files of all web projects%0A * Perform administrative functions as necessary including data entry, running reports, obtaining estimates, billing and tracking various expenses%0A * Plan, coordinate, and supervise work for student employees and/or interns%0A!*!
