Description: !*!The Assistant Director of theOffice of Minority Educational Affairsassists in providing educational and programmatic accountability to Cornell's minority undergraduates. This group of students includes primarily African-American, Asian-American, American Indian, Latino- and Hispanic-American, and inter-racial undergraduates; however, students from other ethnic minority groups, and from some religious minorities, may also seek assistance from OMEA. The Assistant Director also assists in assessing and developing University counseling and advising services for the appropriate populations; aids in the development and communication of counseling, of strategies for personal and social advisement; aids in the development, implementation and evaluation of retention activities.!*!
