This is a Showcase Private College with a large Resident Dining Hall, Kosher Kitchen, Coffee Kiosk, Central Bakery, Smart Market Commissary and Upscale Catering Program. Ideal candidate will have food production experience in a large volume food service operation. Best qualified candidate will have strong leadership, financial, HACCP and customer service skills to oversee 25 employees and 100 students. Prior Resident Dining and upscale catering experience would be helpful in this year round position. ~cb~ Job Description: Position Summary: Responsible for managing multi-functional food service areas in a single account/unit. May assume GMs responsibilities and authority in his/her absence. Assists in maintenance of cash control and payroll records. Assists in supporting the financial/HR functions. Maintains customer satisfaction and good public relations. Basic Education Requirement: High School Diploma or GED Basic Management/Supervisory Experience Required: 1 years of lead/supervisory/management experience Basic Functional Experience Required: 2 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc. You may substitute 1 additional year of experience for each year of education below the basic requirement above as long as you possess a high-school diploma or GED.
