Duties and Responsibilities The applicant will adhere to certification and accreditation procedures, processes, and regulatory requirements related to systems security on DoD networks. They will scan the network for host vulnerability using ISS and Harris STAT tools and document results in relation to residual risk identification. They will follow DoD directives to complete incident handling and reporting. They will have a demonstrated ability in development, implementation and support of security policies across the MMCS organization. They will use their sound foundation in securing Unix and Microsoft operating systems to minimize security vulnerabilities. They will generate and implement an Interim Approval to Operate package. The IAM will perform the duties listed in Section 5.9, DoDI 8500.2. Qualifications > BS or five (5) years of equivalent experience with at least three (3) years of specific experience in information assurance or network security. > Skills in CISSP, SANs, Cisco and Microsoft. > Must be DoD IA Level I Certified. > Certificaiton as an Information Systems Auditor (CISM) desireable. > Must be a US citizen > Must hold an active SECRET security clearance and meet eligibility requirements to access classified information; will be subject to a government security investigation. > Employment will be contingent upon satisfactory results of a company background investigation and drug screening.
