The Outbound Supervisor will directly supervise a total of 15 - 20 associates in the Order Selection, Induction, and Loading function. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organizations policies and procedures. RESPONSIBILITIES Assigns associates to appropriate work areas. Coaches, councils, and observes associates performance; provides feedback and training as necessary. Monitors Order Selectors to evaluate performance and to assist in responding to their inquiries. Ensures Induction flow is efficient and completed in a timely fashion. Conducts observations to ensure best practices are utilized and validates the standards and execution of all loading activities such as, but not limited to, safety, completeness, maximization of cube, and product integrity. Communicates with Distribution Center personnel regarding all issues and/or developments pertaining to operations. Job Requirements Bachelors Degree in business, logistics, or industrial engineering preferred. Minimum 5 years of high volume, "big box" retail distribution center supervision experience preferred; experience supervising a third shift DC operation required. Well-developed associate relations skills; proven team builder with a track record of identifying and growing talent. Strong analytical, and verbal/written communication skills; Bilingual (English/Spanish) desired. Results driven with a high sense of urgency; adept at managing and facilitating change. Apply On-line
