Provides strategic guidance cross-functionally between sales, market-ing and medical to enhance field force productivity and effectiveness. Key Accountabilities: - Lead strategy development by providing strategic thinking, leadership and guidance cross-functionally. - Direct and manage collaboration with Field Force & other functions within the region to develop the strategic plan to increase field force effectiveness and productivity. - Provides strategic guidance and alignment with top countries in building the training infrastructure and delivery of global tools. - Ensure effective cross-functional interaction between sales, marketing and medical to enhance field force productivity. - Ensure the sharing and adoption of Best Demonstrated Practices. - Provide innovative and effective input into identifying field force activities and process improvements to enhance customer impact. Minimum requirements - Graduate degree, Masters (preferably MBA) - 10+ years experience in pharmaceutical sales, sales op-erations, or marketing (requires field sales experience), with at least 6+ years in a management role (preferably experience in sales management). Leadership Skills - Business acumen, ability to create and sustain vision and strategy, guide organizational change, grasp of big-picture issues, and balance short-term ac-tions with long-term planning Selling Skills -- Excellent direct selling and sales man-agement skills in the Pharma Industry Knowledge - Knowledge of international pharmaceutical sales, knowledge of market dynamics Analytical Skills -- Demonstrated strong analytical, fi-nancial management, and negotiation skills Strong interpersonal skills required for effective interactions with countries and with senior mgmt of BU countries Bilingual English/Spanish a must.
