Job Description: Our client provides state-of-the-art acquisition management and technology solutions for all levels of Government and commercial clients. Their management team brings vast expertise in the development and lifecycle management of large scale IT systems including; Acquisition Management, System Engineering, Test and Evaluation, Independent Verification and Validation, Information Assurance, Modeling and Simulation, and analysis support. They are seeking a Test Engineer 1 in Laurel, MD. SIGINT Experience: Desired - At least one year of direct experience with an intelligence community or signals intelligent activity. REQUIRED SKILLS: Minimum one year of experience in testing through a full system development life cycle including implementing test plans, test cases, and test processes. . Experience in documenting test results for corrective actions, reporting and audits. . Experience testing systems from existing system and functional specifications. . Experience with JRuby and/or other unit testing tools. . Experience with XML, Java, C++, database interface, SOLARIS and/or LINUX, and Windows system programming is highly desired. . Working knowledge of and skills in the use of automated test tools and related CASE applications such as Rational TeamTest, Rational ClearQuest, WinRunner, etc. Experience with at least a few of the following: -- Analyzing test data. -- Writing test scripts. -- Utilizing CM tools. -- Test automation development or some demonstrated development experience. -- Performance/load/stress testing. -- Data interface testing. -- Data migration testing. -- User interface testing. -- Security testing. -- Code coverage tools. -- Systems integration testing. -- Web server, OS, and SQL database setup and administration. REQUIRED EDUCATION: Bachelors Degree in Communications Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Systems, Mathematics or similar degree and meet the experience requirements; or equivalent documented combination of training and experience.
