Description: Principal CRA

This Principal Clinical Research Associate position assumes primary responsibility for the conduct of a clinical study and will have the following responsibilities: assists in protocol development, investigator site selection, and assumes primary responsibility for the design of case report forms (CRFs), and the initiation of the study through to study close-out; prepares more complex components of protocols, investigator brochures, periodic reports, and final study reports; assists in the preparation and participates in presentations of in-house and outside symposia/medical meetings, including comprehensive presentation of the status of assigned projects to management; develop and implement educational training programs; collaborates with other internal functional areas, outside consultants, contractors and vendors; supervises the activities of one subordinate Clinical Research staff member; acts as a mentor to CRA levels I – Senior. Qualifications include: a Bachelor’s degree in scientific discipline or equivalent; and 5 years of related clinical research experience
