Job Description:
Description of Deliverables:-
Over the last two years we have seen a significant increase in both
the number of runs as well as PI Projects using NextGen sequencing
technologies. Given this success we are now looking to transition some
clinical assays to this technology and need to develop a “consultant’s
workbench” to aid in the interpretation and annotations of genomic
variants. This application will consolidate and present the user with
context around genomic variation found during testing.
Behavior Characteristics:-
The candidate must have 5-8 yrs of Graphical User interface design and
experiences building web applications.
Experience in Java, UNIX, PERL, UNIX Shell, groovy or other scripting
languages is required
Exp. in Genomics/ Bioinformatics is desired.
Required / Desired Skills:-
"5 Years experience in GUI/ UI design
"5 Years experience in Java
"3 Years experience in Linux/Unix
"1 year experience in IBM Websphere
"1 year experience in IBM MQ
"1 Year experience in Bioinformatics/Genomics Domain
"1 Year experience in High-Throughput computing environments
