Client urrently seeks a Senior Project Manager to join our team in New
York, NY.

Position Functions or Responsibilities:

serves as the DataCore Project Manager with deep software and project
management expertise. This is a senior level Enterprise Project
Manager who will oversee the entire Data Core ODS build program.

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Project manage developer teams (ETL, Cognos, DBA, Data Modeler) in
full SDLC development of Staging, ODS, Data Mart Landing Zone Data
Warehouse entities
• Supervise project plans of the architecture of the Datastage ETL,
Cognos, and DB solutions
• Manage resource allocation, project timelines and reporting
• Ensure standards and best practices of the DataCore are used and
met
• Communicate and lead technical and solution review sessions with
technical team and partner teams.
Skills:
• Knowledge of IBM Datastage, Cognos, data modeling, and data bases
• Project management of large software project teams
• Expert project planning and coordination
• Ability to call and lead meetings
• Ability to create, lead and maintain project plans
• Ability to communicate to management project status
• Ability to make and carry out sound decisions on project risks
• Excellent communications skills.

Required Qualifications:


Cognos—minimum 8 years

8+ years of continuous accomplishments in software development and
project managing software development teams
8+ years of continuous experience leading large software development
teams
Must be an expert with software concepts and project management
Recent experience with ETL, reporting, and data bases,PMP
certification preferred.Experience with data analysis, data
integration, and database design and development,Experience with
developing and implementing ODS, data warehousing solutions or data
migrations,Knowledge of software concepts and with data flow diagrams
or data flow designs
