Help Desk Analyst
(Engagement of Approximately 5-9 Months)
Our client is seeking the services of an entry level person trained in IT
problem resolution to supplement and an existing staff in an Enterprise Help
Desk environment located in St. John's, NL
Responsibilities:
· Performing problem resolution
· Conducting installs, moves, adds and changes
· Faithfully recording activity in the Problem Management System
Required Skills:
· Team Player -Work effectively with a diverse team of IT Support
Analysts
· People Skills - Deal effectively with customers from all areas of
the business including administrative, technical, and executive
· Telephone Skills - Communicate effectively and project a
professional, pleasant manner at all times
· Problem solving knowledge of MS Windows XP Professional
· Problem solving knowledge of MS Office 2003
· Organized and disciplined about performing procedures consistently
while maintaining accurate records
· Time management and prioritization capability
Desirable Skills:
· Experience with a Problem Management System, Remedy preferred
· Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server and Active Directory
(user management)
· Proficiency using Windows XP "Remote Assistance" tool
