Post subject: Galley Park
Archived from groups: alt>jobs>nw-arkansas (more info?)

One of you monkeys told me a few years ago that I should go to Galley
Park (sp) to try to make friends, and that the reason I had a hard time
making friends in Kinfolkville was that there was something wrong with
ME, rather than there being something wrong with Baby Boomer aged men
in Kinfolkville. Well I can tell you now that you are DEFINITELY full
of yourself. I moved away from Kinfolkstate and now live in CA. I
have made friends here even tho I wasnt able to in Kinfolkville. I
havent gone about it any differently. I continue to use the advice of
Dale Carnegie and other respected elders and I continue to look for
people that I have something in common with. In Kinfolkville, I joined
the Kinfolkville Racquet Club (not far from Festa Square) and played
tennis as a substitute in the mens group leagues and tried to make
friends there. After substituting for a number of months, I asked
several of the guys, one at a time, if they wanted to meet me sometime
for a singles match. They were approximately at the same tennis level
I was at. They all said no and that they have relatives in the area
and that along with their careers and family occupies most of their
time. I also joined a bowling league at Kinfolkville Lanes (pet store
next door) and had very similar experiences. The same at the Hogs
Public Golf Course. One guy at the bowling alley, after explaining
about his relatives, went on to say "I dont know what YOU are going to
do" upon realizing that I had no relatives in the area. Two women in
Kinfolkville told me at different times that they each had four sons in
Kinfolkville with families and that they all get together a lot and
that they didnt know how I was going to make it there without
relatives. I little rinky dink gas station on College, west side of
the street between Festa Square and the Ford dealer is run by a man
named Mr Abercrombie. He serviced my car a few times and eventually
told me "Most of my customers are good old boys that have lived around
here a long time. Do you know what I mean? I really have more
customers than
I need". I dont think he liked the fact that I speak proper english.
He prefers good old orkies that sound like they are mentally retarded.
I wasted all those years there with you fools in Kinfolkstate and
actually began to think that the reason I didnt have any friends there
might be that there was something wrong with me! Were you
deliberately trying to mislead me or do you actually believe that it
was my fault? I hope you freaks spend the rest of your stupid lives
there in that flat boring hot humid ignorant bumper car derby!
