Baseline skills:
· Typical experience level 3-7 years of industry experience, but
will
consider outside this range for junior and senior positions.
· Working experience in embedded software development for
telecommunications and/or data networking equipment through design,
implementation and test phases.
· Real Time Operating Systems (RTOS): OSE or pSOS but will
consider
VxWorks also.
· Skilled in analyzing and debugging interface issues between
software
layers and between software and hardware.
· Fluent in C/C++ languages.
· Familiar with Tcl/Tk and Expect
· Skilled in Object-oriented Analysis and Design.
· Experience with source-level debuggers (SDS, XRAY)
· Familiar with logic analyzers
· Familiar with ClearCase.
· Familiar with Frame Maker.
· Dedicated, goal oriented, and team player.
· Familiar with SONET and/or DWDM standards
