testing exp) (75% development 25% testing Black Box & White box)

Skills Set:
* Client requires really solid C#, SQL, Windows Forms & WPF
developers, with testing exp.
* As part of Windows Device Platform Group (WDPG), the
winqual.microsoft.com team is working on web projects to help OEM's,
IHV's, and ISV's to get their HW/SW drivers a Windows Logo, provide
feedback to partners with regards to the crashes caused by their
particular drivers, and work to get a fix for the driver to Windows
Update for millions of customers.
* Client use a variety of technologies, with a focus on.Net Framework
(1.1 to 3.5), ASP.NET, SQL Server 2005. WDPG is part of Windows but
has its separate source control, processes, build, bug database and we
use agile methods for frequent release cycles. We are an eclectic team
(approx 50) from college hires to long-time Microsoft veterans.
* Client is looking for a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET)
who will be responsible for writing and executing test plans and
cases, designing and developing test tools, analyzing, debugging, and
reporting code bugs, white box and black box testing, and working on
an automation infrastructure being built from the ground up.
Responsibilities:
* Responsibilities for the candidate will also include participating
in product architecture and designs, working closely with the
Development and Program Management teams to ensure the feature/product
is compliant to design specifications, test results generation/
compilation and reporting.
* This test team has goals for the product around defect prevention,
pushing quality upstream and quality measurement.
* Defect prevention involves defining quality criteria early and
working with Development and Program Management to build testable
products.
* Pushing quality upstream is building in the checks on quality which
eliminate defects before code is specified, written, checked in and
built.
* Quality measurement is building the right probes into the product to
measure defects, defect find/fix rates and to prevent regressions.
Candidates should have good communication skills, problem-solving
skills, and be detail-minded and self-motivated.
Preferred Skills and Experiences:

* DB: SQL, SQL 2005
* UI: Windows Forms, WPF
* General: computer science, algorithms (queuing theory), .NET
3.x, Windows 2003 Server, distributed systems and client/server.

Skills Required:
* Stron UI designer with Adobe Forms
* Min 5+ plus years total exp.
* Atleast 3+ years of his experience must be on Adobe Forms
