Job Description:
1) 10-15+ years experience in IT industry.
2) 10+ years experience in architecting and designing Enterprise Data Warehousing and Data Mart solutions.
3) Deep technical knowledge on ETL tools (Ab Initio), RDBMS (Teradata, Oracle).
4) Should be able to design and build high-performance and scalable Ab Initio ETL design solutions (history loads and Incremental processing).
5) Review/analyze existing ETL design solutions and identify issues and provide new design solutions.
6) Establish ETL job schedule for EDW based on the batch window. Architect appropriate load balancing strategy on Teradata for the jobs.
7) Incorporate appropriate parallel processing techniques (Server level, DB level and ETL level) to the ETL designing solutions.
Provide performance and SQL tuning expertise working with ETL team and the Teradata DBA.
9) Lead and guide the Ab Initio ETL development team in designing, developing and documenting ETL solutions.
