Qualifications: Graduate with a two year degree in an Engineering
Technology or related field preferred, with more than (5) years of
distribution related experience.

Scope of work: This self-directed individual develops relationships
with internal and external customers, builders, developers,
electricians, other utilities, city officials, etc., and promotes
methods and procedures that maximize effectiveness. This position may
be responsible for designing complex commercial and residential
projects and may include some downtown underground projects, extra
facilities projects, high profile projects and projects requiring the
highest reliability. Must be able to design and estimation of overhead
and underground electric distribution systems to accommodate NESC
compliance, DOT highway relocation projects, and overhead and
underground primary cable replacement projects. The engineer should
understand system planning functions to maintain overall health of the
distribution system such as circuit analysis, capacitor and regulator
studies, and alternate feed studies. Perform scouting and crew leader
duties during restoration efforts. This position will require managing
the design, scheduling, and construction of residential infrastructure
projects (RPAM).
