Our Direct client is in need of Product Development Manager

Title: Product Development Manager

Location: Herndon, VA

Duration: 6 months

Rate: Open

Description
The successful candidate will provide technical leadership in the
design and development of new Commercial Voice products and program
management leadership in delivering fully tested end-to-end product
support solutions to the business.

Education and Experience required:

The successful candidate will have eight years of related experience,
including at least three years of direct product development and/or
complex program management experience in an incumbent local exchange
carrier (ILEC), competitive local exchange provider (CLEC), data
network provider, cable operator (MSO), or Internet Service Provider
(ISP) environment. A candidate having a working knowledge of Hybrid
Fiber/Coax (HFC) networks, DOCSIS-based services, PacketCable voice
telephony and related operational and billing support systems and
processes is highly desirable. Knowledge of legacy voice telephony
networks, PBX trunking, TDM services and CLEC telephone number
provisioning is highly desirable. Candidate must be highly organized
and self-motivated with strong interpersonal skills, and must work
well in a dynamic environment requiring management of multiple
projects and priorities. Candidate must have a track record of
successfully managing large complex technical programs and multi-
disciplinary technical project teams and a demonstrated ability to
communicate at all levels with executive management, regional/
divisional operating units and end-user customers. Candidate must be
equally effective in leading teams and contributing independently to
achieve program goals and objectives, and must work effectively with a
minimum of supervision. A Bachelor's degree in a related technical
field from a four-year college or university or equivalent training,
education and experience is required.

Knowledge of VOIP
