Senior Software Engineer

Responsibilities (including but not limited to):

# Design and develop new applications and functionality using the
latest J2EE, Open Source, and Oracle technologies. # Work closely with
Project Management, Software Development, QA and Production to
coordinate product releases. # Provide application-level
troubleshooting and problem resolution, engaging technical peers and
customers as needed.

Requirements:

# Must have a minimum of 5 years experience developing and supporting
enterprise grade software applications involving JAVA, O/R Mapping
products such as Hibernate, Spring, Struts / Tiles, and database
components. # Experience with Unix/Linux Systems as a power user or
systems administrator. # In-depth experience with at least one of the
following application servers: Weblogic, Oracle, JBoss, or Websphere.
# 3+ years experience with application-level troubleshooting and
problem resolution, engaging technical peers and the business customer
as required. # Comfortable in a fast-paced technology environment with
the ability to multi-task across several projects or issues. # Proven
track record of successfully learning application architecture and
integration. # Experience with concepts and implementation details for
building distributed, large-scale, enterprise caliber software
including: application and network security, clustering, load-
balancing and failover, database access and query optimization, EJB
Session Beans and related design patterns, Portal, BPEL and Web
Services.
