DESCRIPTION:
Privately held mid tier investment firm is starting IT operations in the Los
Angeles area. A Manager of Applications needs to be hired to be the #2
person in this startup operation.
Skills required are a strong industry knowledge in the Investment, Mutual Fund,
brokerage, or Trust industries, knowledge of application packages, or services
available, project leadership in implementing industry solutions.
This is a very ethical firm, worldwide, with its roots in the Midwest, very
laid back atmosphere, but needs someone who is a leader and a persuader to get
things done. Their goal is to grow 10 fold in the next 10 years.
Personal skills include an ability to work well with Executives, and down
through the ranks with all levels, leadership and the ability to present a
business solution to non technical management, and the desire to work in an
unstructured startup environment.
