One of the largest financial services provider seeks Attorney III with 8-10 years of experience as an attorney including 4-5 years of experience in commercial lending with strong background in secured transactions, international banking and/or letter of credit transactions.
The candidate will provide support to the International Banking Group (IBG), Foreign Exchange Group (FX) and Treasury Management with respect to IBG and FX products and will provide support to Institutional Risk Management with regard to IBG matters only. Will provide legal advice with regard to letters of credit, documentary collections, international check operations, structured trade transactions, foreign exchange transactions and products, international products, and various matters involving foreign banks, customers who are transacting business internationally, foreign currency, agreements governed by a foreign law and/or other international matters. Provide legal advice with regard to commercial loans to automobile dealers (including documentation, structure, perfection, priority and other issues). Should have a law degree.
Should be a member of MN State Bar association. Thorough and current knowledge of banking and governmental laws and regulations is preferred. Proven ability to manage the work of both outside and internal legal counsel and staff is desired.
