AridScape Concepts, Inc. is a Scottsdale, Arizona based award
winning Design, Build, and Maintain Landscape Company licensed
and bonded to perform both commercial and residential projects.
The company has established an excellent reputation working with
leading builders, architects and individual homeowners by
delivering high quality projects on time and within budget.
Presently, we serve Arizona’s Phoenix/Scottsdale/Tempe
metropolitan markets; in 2002 we opened a branch office in
Prescott, Arizona that provides service throughout the Prescott
Tri-City area and most recently we began servicing Sedona,
Arizona.

We are looking for a Landscape Architect / CAD Designer to design
and sell custom residential projects in a design center
production environment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Be able to produce colorful conceptual drawings. Perform and
oversee all aspects of estimating: take offs, materials search,
spreadsheet development, data entry, final bid preparation, site
inspection, etc., using computer technology when possible.

Develop and maintain existing customer and vendor relationships
in an effort to maximize recurring revenue sources while creating
new sales opportunities.

Must have excellent Presentation, Communication, Organization,
and Time Management Skills.

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business
periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or
governmental regulations. Ability to produce professional
business correspondence.

Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts,
interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area,
circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic
algebra and geometry.

~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~
Must have a general knowledge of trees, shrubs, groundcover,
cactus & other landscape materials commonly used in the Arizona
market. Some understanding of plant irrigation and low voltage
lighting systems is helpful. General construction knowledge for
masonry, stone, tile, concrete, fountains & plumbing, boulder and
water features, grading plans, electrical, etc., installation is
helpful. Must be able to read & understand blue prints.

Highly CAD (2002) proficient in irrigation, hardscpae, masonry, &
lighting.
Strong understanding of Microsoft Word & Excel.

Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university preferred;
five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent
combination of education & experience.

Valid Arizona Drivers License & clean driving record.

The ability to speak Spanish a plus.

Salary: $34,000-$45,000 + bonus and benefits.
