JOB TITLE: Assistant Estimator, Curb and Gutter Division  
        <br>STATUS: Hourly <br>REPORTS TO:
Sr. Estimator         <br>HOURS: Mon-Fri, 8+
hrs/day <br>LOCATION: Peoria, Arizona      
              <br>PAY RANGE:
$15-$20/HR  DOE <br> <br>PRIMARY PURPOSE: <br>To accurately
estimate quantities, materials and labor needed to ensure
profitability and secure work as a concrete sub-contractor <br>
<br> <br>QUALIFICATIONS: <br>•High School Diploma (preferred)
or GED <br> <br> Other Qualifications: <br>•Minimum of 18
years of age. <br>•3 years field experience in
off-site/infrastructure <br>    concrete applications.
<br>•General computer skills with working knowledge of <br>
  Microsoft Excel and Word. <br>•Must possess basic skills
to perform tasks associated <br>   with quantity and
material take-offs, unit pricing, bid comparisons, <br>  
supplier and subcontractor quotes. <br>•Must pass a
pre-employment drug/alcohol test and <br>   subject to
random testing as outlined in the BBP <br>   Drug Policy.
<br>•Available to work 45+ hours per week. <br>•Detail
oriented <br>•Accurate with mathematical calculations and
quantities <br>•Ability to follow oral and written
instructions. <br> <br>MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES: <br>
<br>•Quantity take-offs <br>•Count take-offs <br>•Linear
take-offs <br>•Area take-offs <br>•Material estimation
<br>•Field measuring <br>•Additional duties as directed by
Sr. Estimator. <br> <br>EQUIPMENT USED: <br>•Computer/ printer
<br>•Copier <br>•FAX <br>•Scanner <br>•Measuring tools
<br> <br>WORKING CONDITIONS: <br> <br>Mental Demands:
<br>•Reading and interpreting technical information and  
  <br>  drawings <br>•Ability to communicate
effectively. <br>•Ability to focus on repetitive and intricate
tasks <br>•High degree of accuracy <br>•Ability to perform
duties assigned. <br> <br>Physical Demands/Environmental
Factors: <br>•Must be able to work in an office environment
<br>•Sitting for long periods of time <br>•Must be able to
work in outdoor environments <br>•Standing/Walking for long
periods of time in desert <br>  climate <br>•Sustained
repetitive motion of the eyes, hands, <br>  arms, legs and
